Merry-Go-Round  is a 300 piece jigsaw puzzle from Pomegranate. Puzzle measures 24" x 18" when complete and features artwork by Anna Zinkeisen. Released June 2014.

About the artist: Merry-Go-Round, 1935, by Anna Zinkeisen (British, 1901–1976). Pair of lithograph posters, each 101.6 x 63.5 cm (40 x 25 in.) Known primarily as a muralist and portraitist, Anna Zinkeisen designed and illustrated books, magazines, and posters, as well as creating award-winning ceramics. In collaboration with her sister Doris, also an artist, Zinkeisen painted murals for the passenger liners RMS Queen Mary and RMS Queen Elizabeth. Anna Zinkeisen's self-portrait is exhibited at the National Portrait Gallery in London. Zinkeisen designed posters for London Transport from 1933 to 1944, and many of her designs featured athletic figures on horseback, frolicking in the park, or playing sports. Merry-Go-Round, with its storybook animals, ethereal maidens, and whimsical cherubs, was originally produced in two parts, with each of the two halves gracing its own poster.

Thoughtfully conceived and engagingly intricate, Pomegranate's interlocking jigsaw puzzles combine superb color reproduction, stunning and unusual images, and heirloom-quality construction to delight generations of puzzle solvers.
