I can't believe this is being discontinued! It's an awesome game. As shown there's a sturdy plastic case and the top is where you play the game/puzzle. The spiral bound puzzle book shows what picture and how many should be left uncovered -nothing else can show but those exact items - this means sometimes covering up one or more of the items you're looking to leave open(may be 5 ships and only need 4 for the puzzle) When I purchased the Safari version I didnt' realize the pieces were different - I think this game is easier than the Safari version though I like both a lot. out of the smartgames I've tried so far antivirus is my favorite followed by this or safari then camouflage - all 3 are different enough in my opinion - or actually all 4 since I like both pirate and safari and the pieces are different. along the lines of camouflage are aqua belle and airport - same concepts for those 3.
