Sorry, I’m a bit late in posting this due to being out of town. But on July 19th, House of Puzzles (see my article on them here) announced their new fall line. These puzzles are now available in the UK but I don’t yet see them on the amazon US site.
Here’s a link to them on amazon uk.
I’m going to show them in order of my most to least favorites, but your tastes will vary and they’re all lovely puzzles. Without further ado….
Christmas Puzzle 2015 — “Window Shopping” by Ray Cresswell (Collector’s Edition No 10)
I loved last year’s Christmas puzzle (see my review here). This one is very nice as well. It comes in either 500 or 1000 pieces. Very colorful and festive! As usual, this puzzle has some very usually shaped pieces, including ones shaped like Christmas objects.
“Car Boot Sale” by Linda Birkinshaw, 1000 pieces
I’m happy to see them give Linda Birkinshaw a 1000 piece puzzle. I’ve really loved her images in the past, but a lot of them were 250 pieces, which is just too small for me. This one is colorful and has a nice collection of characters.
“Pride and Joy” by Ray Cresswell, 1000 pieces
Love all the color.
“Homemade Scones”, 1000 pieces by Tracy Hall
A pretty domestic/rustic scene with lots of nice colors and patterns.
“Ideal Home”, 1000 pieces by Tracy Hall
Tons of small detail in this one!
“Flower Show”, 1000 piece, by Tracy Hall
And this one too! Should be easy and fun to assemble.
“Find the Differences No 9: Frosty and Friends”, 1000 pieces by Ray Cressewell
I particularly like the ‘find the differences’ series. The idea is that the puzzle image matches the box EXCEPT for about 15 small changes. It can be fun to assemble because it can be a little confusing at times, if you’re referring to the box lid.
“Save Our Squirrels”, 1000 pieces by Ray Cresswell
I like the woodland theme of this one.
“Retro Rosies”, 1000 pieces by Tracy Hall
Tons of different colors and patterns.
“Bless Em All”, 1000 pieces by Ray Cresswell
A more masculine theme in this one.
“Merry Christmas”, 1000 pieces
Tow Path, 1000 pieces
“Highland Morning, 1000 pieces
Finally, there are also a number of new “Big 500” puzzles released. You can see those here.
So what do you think?
