Although brown bears (Ursus arctos) don’t mingle much, the two depicted here have gathered at a stream near Canoe Bay, Alaska, lured by the first fish of the salmon run. Thanks to nutrient-rich salmon, brown bears on the Alaska Peninsula coast and islands are the largest terrestrial carnivores today, sometimes weighing over a thousand pounds. Brown bears live in the northern reaches of North America, Europe, and Asia, however those that live inland eat mainly plants—and can be half the size. Together, Alaska brown bears and salmon help support the riverside ecosystems they share.
The habitat dioramas are among the greatest treasures of the American Museum of Natural History in New York City, depicting a precise moment in time—a specific location, complete with its indigenous flora and wildlife. The Museum is one of the world’s preeminent scientific, educational, and cultural institutions, drawing millions of visitors each year.

I love the color and the subject matter. I lived in AK for some years and it is an accurate depiction of what the scenery is like up there. It is a diorama from somewhere (I forgot where), but beautifully done.
Would love to see more of these kind of puzzles, maybe in 2000 pieces or bigger I would love more!
Thanks Puzzle Warehouse. This is one of the very few puzzles I have found that feature Grizzly Bears in the image. I wish there were more. This was a relatively easy puzzle to put together and the image is beautiful. Pomegranate puzzles are one of my favorite brands.
