Whether his subject was cats, dogs, raccoons, blackbirds, turtles, or the wonderful world of bugs, American artist Charley Harper (1922 - 2007) made paintings filled with color, motion, and fun. His whimsical paintings have delighted art and animal lovers for more than sixty years. Harper developed his unique style while a student at the Art Academy of Cincinnati and the Art Students League in New York City. His distinctive use of simple geometric shapes, patterns, and vivid colors—a style he defined as “minimal realism”—succinctly captured the essence of each creature he portrayed. Biodiversity in the Burbs features a couple dozen of Harper's whimsical, delightful creatures. Puzzle measures 18" x 24" when complete.

Fun puzzle to do!
Lots of giggles while solving this puzzle. Very relaxing for two adults to enjoy. Charley Harper puzzles are always great fun. Loved the tick in the deer's ear.

I enjoy working the colorful, creative images of Charlie Harper. Completed this one as a joint project with 11 year old twins who delighted in discovering the many animals.

Parents just love it. They are in their 90's and it it s keeping them occupied during this time of Covid.
Did this puzzle with our kids ages 6, 8, and 14. It was challenging enough that the adults enjoyed it, but not so challenging that the kids got frustrated by it. The pieces are fairly matte, which makes doing these puzzles under overhead lighting in the evening more enjoyable. The colors are true to the picture. We love that Pomegranate brand puzzles like this come in a resealable bag. The pieces lock together nicely and we were able to pick the puzzle up in one piece after completion. All in all, a very nice puzzle.
Charley Harper is my favorite! I enjoyed this 300 piece puzzle because it gave me quick satisfaction after laboring over a 1000 piece puzzle for a week!

This puzzle is good for children. The pieces are extra large and the image is fun. An adult can assemble it in about 90 minutes.
