Chessboard Polyominoes Puzzle is large enough to actually play chess or checkers on, measuring 9" square. This is a design from Jean Claude Constantin. Consists of 14 polyomino pieces (see additional photo), 3 triominoes (3 blocks), 6 tetraminoes (4 blocks), 2 pentominoes (5 blocks), 1 hexamino (6 blocks), 1 heptamino (7 blocks) and 1 octamino (8 blocks) all housed in a heavy duty wood base. When assembled, the pieces make the chessboard in 6 different ways. It is difficult to find even 1 solution, but we provide all six. Additionally, the pieces will make a 4x4x4 cube puzzle in 3 different ways, also very difficult, but instruction are included. A great challenge in a beautifully dynamic puzzle!
