In “Hero Worship,” the 1000 piece jigsaw puzzle based on the artwork of famed master painter Charles Wysocki, early flight is celebrated outside of a Liberty Airport hanger. A U.S. mail truck and Mail Express motorcycle bring letters and packages to be delivered by an early U.S. Mail plane. Other colorful airplanes and flags fill the sky in this vintage masterpiece.
For more than 40 years Charles Wysocki enjoyed his love affair with life and Americana, and through his imaginative and colorful artwork, touched the hearts of millions worldwide. ""Chuck"" felt a special kinship with puzzlers who share in the creative process by building his paintings one piece at a time.

Beautiful scene but WAY too many pieces of the same shape and size. The sky around the planes was very difficult, and we aren't novice puzzlers. I was actually ready to forget finishing the puzzle because of the sameness of the pieces.
Enjoyed working on this puzzle
Lots of sky and grass made this puzzle a challenge.
We just completed this puzzle. It was a bit more challenging than the word "Medium" implies because the clouds and sky color and texture changed so much, but we got through it. We love Charles Wysocki puzzles, especially because he tends to include an American flag or two in his artistry and the subject matter seems to be all American.
