My husband is finding this puzzle more challenging than the other ones he has worked on--which if you ask me is a good thing. We live in a community that is heavily populated with deer and cardinals so the subject matter of this particular puzzle is near and dear to our hearts. Because a great deal of the colors in the puzzle are so close in hue, this is definitely a challenge. Definitely recommend for a more advanced puzzle aficionado. It is going to be absolutely gorgeous when it is completed.
Very well made pieces. The variety of shapes was fun. The picture was very well done for a puzzle where subtle differences can be found, with patience.
Looks great hung up
Although there are only 500 pieces, many are significantly smaller than the average size of the pieces, and many of these smaller pieces are a part of the edge. The puzzle also has many odd-shaped pieces that are unusual. Still in the process of putting it together, but the 2 birds were the easiest. Still looking for 2 of the edges and the deer themselves will be the most challenging.
