The set I had for my older grandchildren is still operational but I need new laces. The sheathing over the cord in the laces frayed to the point that they do not slide smoothly through the holes anymore. But the cards remain so I will just supply old shoelaces to keep using them. It is such a great toy I bought this new set for the youngest in the family. Youngest kids should get something really new sometimes, not always getting hand-me-downs.
