Lost in the Woodies 1000-piece puzzle by Buffalo Games

This 300-large piece jigsaw Puzzle from famed folk artist Charles Wysocki will take you back in time as you enjoy a true slice of Americana living.

You’ll feel like you’re sitting on a dock in a quaint New England town while you put this Puzzle together.

This painting shows you life in an early New England town on the coast where people arrive in boats on a bright sunny day.

Residents walk along the docks dressed in their Sunday best as American flags float in the breeze.

For more than 40 years Charles Wysocki enjoyed his love affair with life and Americana, and through his imaginative and colorful artwork, touched the hearts of millions worldwide.

"Chuck" felt a special kinship with puzzlers who share in the creative process by building his paintings one piece at a time.

For ages 14 and up. Completed puzzle measures 26.75" x 19.75"

Every Buffalo Games jigsaw puzzle is manufactured in the U.S.A. from recycled puzzle board.

A precision cutting technique guarantees that every piece will fit soundly with the company's signature Perfect Snap™.

A bonus puzzle poster is also included so that you have a handy reference of what the completed puzzle should look like while you put yours together.

Although I have rated this puzzle "Medium" in difficulty, it is a bit harder than that due to all of the woodwork in various tones and textures. We actually replaced our old Milton Bradley version of this puzzle which was named "Wooden You Like A Ride?" because our old Milton Bradley puzzle was showing signs of wear - loose fitting pieces mostly. We will donate that old puzzle to the Salvation Army because all the pieces are still there and we're sure that someone else will enjoy putting that together. We were so happy to discover that this new Buffalo brand version "Lost In The Woodies" has snug fitting pieces, it's brighter in color than our old puzzle and there is a bit more detail such as the bridge with arches and the building above that. It appears as though Charles Wysocki zoomed out in this version to show more detail. So nice! Plus, his puzzles almost always have at least one American flag in them. We really like that feature in his puzzles too!

Was a challenge as the pieces are odd shape and there is a lot of color variation within each piece. Was a lot of fun to complete.
