Queenie Abstract Jigsaw Puzzle

Ching Ho Cheng started painting at the age of six. Born in Cuba in 1946, the son of a Chinese diplomat, Cheng and his family settled in New York, where he lived in the Chelsea Hotel during the 1970s and ’80s until his death. Queenie is one of Cheng’s early psychedelic works, full of energy and movement. A Medusa with red hair draws the eyes into the center of the triptych, and the Medusa, which is repeated throughout the painting, transforms into a fox. Cheng’s work can be found in several museums in the United States.

It's a beautiful and mystical work of art, and it's going to take me forever to finish - SO HARD! :)

This puzzle was a lot of fun! I chose it because of the challenging similarly-patterned areas and it didn't disappoint. It took me about 10-12 hours to complete, so I consider that a great entertainment investment for the price! The material and thickness of the pieces is high quality (no bending or breaking), with a nice matte finish that minimizes glare. You'll really enjoy this one. Super satisfying.

Almost a yin and yang puzzle. Mini pattern repetition makes it difficult to orient final placement until darting arrows can assist. You'll leave the finished puzzle on display, you'll be so proud of getting it done.

It was a bear to do, but that's just the way I like them.
