A challenging and beautiful puzzle devised in 1883 originally called Tower of Brahma and later Tower of Hanoi. Can you move the tower to one of the other 2 pegs without ever placing a larger ring over a smaller ring? To solve through any layer requires a minimum number of moves 2 to the N power minus 1; where N is the number of rings. This 9 ring version requires 511 moves! Its not an “all or nothing” puzzle though; whatever layer you solve though is a measure of your proficiency. Requires focus and concentration and the ability to recognize and remember patterns. Comes with wood box that encases all the pieces.
Dimensions: 9.5" x 3.6" x 1.5"
Difficulty level: 4 (out of 6)

very fun puzzle - very very very repettive. I was able to solve with 7 rings (there's a 7 ring version but I just take off the bottom 2 rings ) a LOT of moves that I got the hang of but it's so easy to lose your rhythm and end up undoing what you've done! I find it soothing when my mind is occupied with useless thinking/worrying and I just want to keep it busy! though pretty much all puzzles can do that for me!
