Puzzle pieces are small and printed on a coated paper (different than most puzzles) which can, in some light, cause glare & more difficulty seeing the colors. Fun, challenging puzzle.
This was a very enjoyable puzzle. The pieces are square - no goofy shapes - and fit easily into each other. Although it has 1000 pieces, the puzzle is not overly large and fits nicely on a dining room table, The design is attractive, with enough contrasting areas to make this puzzle fun, not frustrating. The only caveat is that the pieces are small, which might be an issue for someone with arthritic hands. This would be a fun puzzle for a family with older children or a group.

Pieces are good size and the printing is easy to see. Right challenge level to be fun but not frustrating. Beautiful scene was pleasant to assemble on a dreary rainy day!
