Charley Harper (American, 1922–2007) Woodland Wonders, 1977 A walk in the woods is expertly conceived in Harper’s Woodland Wonders. This image was created for the Cincinnati Nature Center and was his first poster design of over 50 that he would create for nature- and conservation-oriented organizations. As is often the case with Harper’s work, there are critters here that you might not see until you’re well into putting this 1,000-piece puzzle together—like that bullfrog, for instance.

Tranquil scene with colorful creatures. Makes me feel like I'm in a forest.
All the different shades of green in the leaves, as well as the brown tree stump made this puzzle one of the more complex and time consuming puzzles. Nonetheless, I love Charley Harper Puzzles!
Love all of the Charley Harper puzzles. Nice thick and well fitted pieces. Soft finish that doesn’t split from the backing. Good feel as you work it.
Having been away from puzzles for a long time, this was a fun project. All that green made for a challenging experience. Nice colors--all around good quality pieces; even the box was top notch. I really enjoyed finding the hidden wildlife; you miss them at first glance. Very relaxing & enjoyable!
Love this picture. The way the pieces are cut and the myriad of differently-shaped leaves made this a challenge but I loved working on it. If I didn't typically share my puzzles, this would be one I would consider framing.
