Up, up, and away in our beautiful balloons! Every Fall near the Sandia mountains of New Mexico balloon enthusiasts gather from all over the world to witness something spectacular. Rising high into the air, and then making their way back to their launch site (with help from the box winds) these balloonists compete in various contests of skill and navigation. I love hot air balloons. It took about 3 weeks to complete the puzzle. Most 1000 pc puzzles take me close to a month. I seriously thought I was missing one piece from the middle of the big balloon on the left side. I stumbled across it on the floor. I was very surprised, because I was watching the floor carefully, the whole time I was assembling the puzzle. I am 100% satisfied with this puzzle

This puzzle was harder than I expected. I really like the brilliant colors of the balloons.

It took me a long time with the greens and the hills.
This was our favorite puzzle! The challenge was matching which color went with which balloon. The packaging was excellent. The puzzle is housed in a hard cover box with a flip top lid that easily opens and closes and "locks down" with a piece of small velcro. The puzzle came sealed in a plastic bag with an extra resealable bag included to store the puzzle inside. An small full color poster insert was included with additional trivia about the puzzle identified by numbers and a matching illustration of the puzzle. The box is such quality that you would want to put these up on a bookshelf for storage and they look nice too! We were very happy with our purchase and will do so again!!!
This puzzle was hard and colors are very similar which made it harder but loved it!
I enjoy Dowdle puzzles and this one was no exception. I love the vibrant colors and the puzzle comes with an internet link that tells the story behind the balloons. Dowdle puzzles are always challenging. I would rate them as hard. The puzzles come beautifully boxed and I would rate them as excellent were it not for the high levels of puzzle dust that I observe with them.
Very nice quality puzzle! Would buy more Dowdle puzzles!
