Who loves holidays as much as I do? From good food, cozy family time, and extra days off of work (hopefully), does it get much better? Add in the fun decorations, and maybe some wacky family traditions, and I tend to love each and every holiday! CONTINUE READING

This month I interviewed Anie Maltais, the owner and founder of JaCaRou Puzzles in Quebec, Canada!  Join us for Part 1 of our interview as we talk about starting a puzzle company, creating puzzle art, and quitting your job right before a global pandemic. Note:  This interview has been lightly edited for length and clarity. CONTINUE READING

Busy puzzles.  With many puzzlers, they either evoke terror and are avoided at all costs or they are a challenge accepted with gusto.  I fall into the latter category.  One of the first 1000 piece puzzles I ever did was the extended cast of the TV show “The Simpsons”.  It was almost completely yellow.  I realized very quickly it was very difficult to sort and it taught me to look at small details to work out where pieces needed to be placed.  I loved every second of it and to this day still remains one of my favourite puzzles. Are you looking for a puzzle that has a little extra spice? I have the perfect thing for you: Seek & Find puzzles! These puzzles give you a little bit more to do after you're done with the puzzling. I find that they are a good way to bring my non-puzzling family members in on the fun. Once I've completed the puzzle, they can help me seek out the items. CONTINUE READING

Hello out there to all my puzzle friends!  Today's blog entry is going to be about adding some diversity to our puzzle collections. Established just over a year ago (February 2021), Enwood Games is one of the newest brands available at Puzzle Warehouse. I spoke with the owner, Francisco, who told me that he has been a puzzler for as long as he can remember. He wanted to create a company that focuses on publishing the art of emerging artists around the world. He also pushes the business to think outside the box and come up with new innovations with puzzles. In fact, he keeps a notebook with him at all times so he can jot down ideas whenever they come to him. CONTINUE READING

I used to spend every other summer travelling through Europe with a busload of university students. Crazy, possibly; fun, often; relaxing, occasionally! Travelling days are at a minimum now, so relaxing on a luxurious patio in Italy, even if only while puzzling, is a dream I like to enter! Who wouldn’t want to be sitting on this terrace enjoying a nice glass of Chianti! CONTINUE READING

I’m not sure why I love store front puzzles, but I do. They tend to have banners across the top, straight window edges, a front door, and something on the sidewalk in front. In short, they have a lot of different details. Usually the area behind the windows is the most challenging, but I usually leave that for last when there are fewer pieces to hunt through. And these stores sell such a variety of items – flowers, puzzles, books, electronics, clothing, vintage items, toys, and more. CONTINUE READING
