According to The History Makers, Annie Lee decided to pursue an art career at age 40. She earned her master’s degree after eight years of night classes while working at Northwestern Railroad as a clerk in the engineering department. Her railroad job inspired one of her most popular paintings, Blue Monday, which shows a woman struggling to get out of bed on a Monday morning. Her work is known for creating animated personalities even though the faces are painted without features.

In the Puzzle World, a mini puzzle generally refers to a puzzle with 100 pieces or less. However, there are some who say that any puzzle with 300 pieces or less qualifies as a mini puzzle. We will thus apply the #1 Rule of Puzzling which is “Puzzling is Meant to Be Fun!” So if a mini puzzle is 300 pieces or less AND you’re having fun, then 300 piece puzzles can officially be considered a mini puzzle!

It was a round puzzle that started it all! My grandma kept a very special round puzzle at her house so that we could work on it together when I came to visit. I loved that puzzle because it was round, it had Winnie the Pooh, and it meant that my grandma wanted to spend time with *just me*. I still have the puzzle!
