Butterflies III

My students love these puzzles! I have a few varieties by the same company. The butterflies seem to have a wide range of sizes and difficulty levels. I sort them into sandwich baggies so students can take one at a time. Two of the puzzles have almost the same color red back so it was a little tricky for kids to sort.

These individual mini butterfly puzzles are very pretty and since the back of each one is individually color coded, are easily assembled. After I glued them I delicately bent the wings up on the sides as they dried and propped them up with balled up wax paper etc. After drying they had some dimension to them which looked great on my wall.

The pieces for each butterfly are colour-coded on the back. For a harder experience, don't sort them by colour first.
