Many of Haruyo's paintings hail from her deep appreciation of the style, flamboyance and drama of Kabuki theatre. Haruyo herself trained for many years as a Kimono painter under rigorous schooling. This training naturally imbued her with many of the design skills, displayed in her art, which are so obviously redolent of a unique national heritage.

This is a beautiful, colorful puzzle and is very well-made.
Like the others in this series, an enjoyable puzzle to work on, with a beautiful color palette.
Lovely character, but did not enjoy putting the monochromatic background together.
Such pretty colors and scene. Puzzle was fun to do and I loved the way nature was reflected from the scenery to the fabrics in her kimono.
Colors very vibrant. My husband glued and framed this one for my son and his wife. They absolutely love it.
I love these kimono puzzles, and this is probably the fourth one I did. The colors are so much fun, and there's enough variety that you can generally figure out the patterns. The kimonos are busy, but not super hard to put together. It's the background that can be trickiest. Looks wonderful on my wall.
