Tinga Tinga is a genre of art that hails from Tanzania and Kenya. It was developed in the second half of the 20th century by Tanzanian painter Edward Tingatinga. Tinga Tinga paintings are recognizable by their brilliant and highly saturated color schemes made traditionally by bicycle paint on masonite.
