This 20th century New England town is encountering its mid-day bustle, as locals ride their buggies to the bank, the jeweler and the general store. This puzzle has an authentic quality that will bring you back nearly a century, to a simple yet growing time for this town. This 300 large piece jigsaw puzzle is titled Lilac Point Glen and is by artist Charles Wysocki.
For more than 40 years Charles Wysocki enjoyed his love affair with life and Americana, and through his imaginative and colorful artwork, touched the hearts of millions worldwide. ""Chuck"" felt a special kinship with puzzlers who share in the creative process by building his paintings one piece at a time.
Completed puzzle is 21.25" x 15"
It has nice variety, but the various red parts increase the difficulty.
Love your puzzels
This review is for the 300 piece puzzle, and it was fast and easy to put together, since each house was different from the others, with easy-to-sort colors and patterns on each house. Great fun and a wonderful puzzle when you don't want anything difficult! I originally had the 1000 piece of this exact same puzzle, but found it much harder, and got a little tedious since the 1000 pieces were much smaller so it wasn't obvious where the pieces fit within the whole puzzle. Both versions (300 piece and 1000 piece) were great, but a different level of difficulty. If you want super-fast and easy pick the 300 version. If you want something a bit more challenging and don't want easy, then go for the 1000 piece version. Both were very well made, thick cardboard, pieces fitting together perfectly, and fun to do!
Another CW picture, 300 pieces, great for children and family to do together
Loved this puzzle.
