Yellowstone National Park was the first national park in the United States. It was designated in 1872. It is located in the northwest corner of Wyoming and also slightly juts into Montana and Idaho. It contains over 2 million acres of land and is well known for its geothermal features and abundant wildlife. This old map, published by George Cram is circa 1899.
