Nelson Canyon Falls, found in the back country of Gogebic County, is one of the numerous hidden gems that can be found in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. Nelson Creek flows through a hardwood forest, passing through a smaller canyon before suddenly dumping into this short box canyon. It’s a lovely, unique waterfall full of character.
