Jane Maday worked as a scientific illustrator for the University of Florida at the young age of 14. After graduating college, she worked for Hallmark illustrating the famous greeting cards. Her scientific past adds a touch of realism to her artwork, although she prefers more whimsical work than biological or commercial.
