Shyam-sundar – The Lord of Beautiful Evenings. This puzzle depicts Krishna playing his flute in the evening, enchanting everyone around him.
Story: Krishna grew up as cowherd in Vrindavan on the banks of the Yamuna river, where he played in the evenings with Gopis and Gopikas. Krishna had a mesmerizing effect on one and all, and seeing him delighted them all. They composed songs of his meritorious deeds and offered homage to the Lord, through song and dance. Their delight in being with their Lord is conveyed through the beautiful dressing, accessorized with intricate jewellery and their delightful faces.
This gorgeous somewhat challenging puzzle has irregular cut pieces on sturdy board that does not shed at all. Perfect for folks who enjoy sunsets, this Lord of Beautiful Evenings image also teaches something about Indian mythology and religion. The image does not, however, depict Krishna playing his flute.
