The Red Door

To me, The Red Door is a stunning work of art. I still have it on my puzzle table 3 weeks after finishing it. I only do puzzles a few times a year because, once started, I spend way too many hours each day until it’s finished. This gorgeous puzzle was very challenging for me. The pieces are small, and VERY similar in shape. There were many times when I was certain I had placed a piece correctly, then 50 pieces later discovered I had not. I used a high powered magnifying glass frequently while putting this puzzle together. Was it a joy? In some ways, yes. The colors are gorgeous, so every piece was a tiny work of art. In other ways, no, because everything came to a halt for 10 or so days! If you love challenging, beautiful puzzles, and have the discipline to pace yourself, this puzzle’s for you.
