Paul Heussenstamm (American, b. 1949) is a practitioner of the Eastern tradition of transmission, in which a painting travels through the artist. He consults with Tibetan painter Yeshi Dorjee and artists in Bali, Nepal, India, and Tibet to ensure the authenticity of his work. Yin Yang Bear represents energies of the goddess and the union of masculine and feminine. Heussenstamm believes that soul patterns are manifested in mandalas, which have played a role in Eastern spiritual development for centuries.

At 500 pieces - this was not too overwhelming & provided a wonderful sense of satisfaction.
A little more difficult as so many sections are the same colors and design shapes.
I love this one because it had such a nice meditative quality about it. Time just flew by with this puzzle. It was half way between an easy to medium difficulty level because it was only 500 pieces, but you had a lot of blue. Separating the shading differences was very helpful.
At 500 pieces, this is not a hard as it looks.
Mesmerizing to work on and one of the most enjoyable puzzles I've completed during pandemic-era. Highly Recommend.

This is one of the most beautiful puzzles I’ve ever done. The design for just a 500 piece puzzle is amazing. I love pomegranate puzzles because they include the poster to help you orient placing the pieces

Another one of my favorite puzzles from Pomegranate. I love just about every puzzle with Paul Heussenstamm designs and I love that Pomegranate has chosen to highlight his art with their puzzles. The mandala is beautiful and fun to assemble. The coloration is great. The piece quality is very high. Difficulty is above average so it's perfect for a 500 piece puzzle. Highly recommend.
