Welcome Back White Mountain!
As someone who grew up near the flagship White Mountain Puzzles store in Jackson, New Hampshire, the news that Puzzle Warehouse is now offering hundreds of White Mountain images fills me with a sense of nostalgia and excitement. It's amazing to see this beloved brand come full circle after three years apart. This brand has easily been the most requested brand according to our customer care team and it was torture having to keep it a secret until the official launch date.

Before we get into the puzzles, lets do a quick back-story about the brand for those who are not already fans already. White Mountain was founded in 1979 in Jackson, New Hampshire. The company was originally for advertisements. It wasn't until the late eighties that they expanded their product line to puzzles. They are still made in Western Massachusetts in a town called Holyoke, and theY've expanded some of their manufacturing in Indiana. All of the puzzles are made in the USA. If you want to learn more about the history of the brand, you can read this interview with the owners here.
White Mountain is known for their collage images. Puzzles like Mom's Shopping List, 80s Girl, and Slang We Used are images that are nostalgic, so people can reminisce about their childhood. The brand wants to create puzzles that are fun and not frustrating. The pieces are slightly larger which makes it a bit easier to grip and incredibly satisfying to put together.
We’re excited that White Mountain Puzzles is back and better than ever!! It’s a nostalgic reunion for me, and I know it will be for many of you, too. Whether you’re a longtime fan or new to their charming designs, there’s something incredibly special about their puzzles. From stunning landscapes to quirky, fun themes, each puzzle offers the same joy and sense of accomplishment that I remember from my childhood.
I remember visiting with my family as a kid—walking through the charming little storefront, browsing the vast selection of puzzles, and picking out a new one to take home for a cozy weekend challenge. The puzzles were never just games—they were memories in the making. Whether it was a rainy day or a family gathering, each piece was an opportunity to connect and create something beautiful together.
My Personal Puzzle Experiences:
One of the things that has always drawn me to White Mountain Puzzles is the variety of designs and the way they bring joy with every piece. Over the years, I've had the pleasure of completing several White Mountain puzzles that hold a special place in my heart.
Love Stamps (1000 Pieces)
One puzzle that stands out is the Love Stamps puzzle. This 1000-piece beauty is a fun collage-style design that immediately grabbed my attention. The vibrant mix of colors and playful images made it a joy to put together. What made this puzzle particularly satisfying was the slightly larger piece size, which made assembling it feel both easy and enjoyable. The larger pieces were a breeze to handle, and I found myself gliding through it in no time. It was one of my favorite puzzles in 2024.
Baking (300 Pieces)
Another favorite I have to mention is Baking, a 300-piece puzzle that was just an absolute delight to work on. I’ve always been drawn to smaller piece-count puzzles for their quick and satisfying completion, but sometimes, those tiny pieces can be a bit challenging, especially when I’m dealing with rheumatoid arthritis (RA). On days when my hands aren’t feeling their best, it’s great to have puzzles with larger pieces, and Baking was perfect in that regard. The pieces were chunky and easy to grip, and they fit together beautifully, which made for a super enjoyable experience. Plus, the image itself was so charming—everything from the warm kitchen vibes to the colorful baked goods made this one a real standout.
I Had One of Those (1000 Pieces)
One puzzle that took me on a full-blown nostalgia trip was I Had One of Those, another 1000-piece beauty from White Mountain. This one is a classic collage-style puzzle, and it’s filled with all the toys I grew up with. From board games to action figures, there was so much to recognize, and each piece I placed seemed to spark a new memory. It was like being transported back to my childhood with every click of the pieces. I had a raggedy Anne Doll, Speak and Spell, and a Gumby doll. For anyone who loves a trip down memory lane, this puzzle is a must!
On My Wishlist
As a puzzler, it's been a thrilling experience watching all the new puzzle designs roll out at Puzzle Warehouse. The launch of White Mountain's collection has been like stepping into a candy store—so many beautiful, captivating images to choose from. A few have caught my eye and are definitely at the top of my wishlist. Among them are some stunning landscape puzzles.
One puzzle that I can’t wait to get my hands on is Summer Holiday. The scene, painted by artist David Maclean and it looks like a fun summer getaway. I love how bright the colors are and there are so many elements to work from. Looks like a very beginner friendly puzzle!
Another puzzle that’s on my radar is Golden Gate, which offers a breathtaking view of the iconic Golden Gate Bridge. With a designer’s touch by Dominic Davison, this 1000-piece puzzle showcases the beauty of the San Francisco Bay as sailboats glide by and hot air balloons drift lazily in the sky. I absolutely love sky, water, and hot air balloons in puzzles and the coloring on this images looks beautiful!
Every time I browse their collection, I feel like a kid in a candy store, wanting them all. Whether you're drawn to vintage cars, antique advertising, or charming scenes from nature, and their collage puzzles offer something for everyone. It’s a brand that knows how to create puzzles that cater to every kind of puzzle lover, from those looking to relax with a fun, themed collage to those who want a more challenging, meta-puzzle experience. I'm so glad that Puzzle Warehouse has brought these back, and I’m excited to see what new designs will be coming next!
But one of the biggest challenges? Choosing just one!

Nice article.
I love these puzzles, but I got one that has a missing piece. Is this a easy web site to get missing pieces from?
