This was a gift for my sister & brother-in-law. They said it was challenging because of the varied shapes & 1,000 pieces plus it had been MANY years since they'd worked a puzzle. They thoroughly enjoyed it though & had a great sense of accomplishment when they finished.

I’m not sure about the difficulty rating. I’m a puzzler so it might be harder so some. But beautiful puzzle and I so appreciate that a picture comes with the puzzle so you can use the box top to sort pieces.

I enjoyed working this one and hated to put it back in the box. I think it took me three days off and on.

Liked the random cut, it made it more challenging. Looks good enough to frame.

This puzzle was hard but fun. My wife and I did this one early in our Shelter In Place quarantine, which is still going on. We posted our daily progress on a family text message account. So, our family could see how we were doing and provide comments to us. Now, we’re on to our next puzzle.

Hard to fill in spaces around birds. Few color clues. Going by shapes now.

Love the birds and had fun figuring out all the different wood grains! I never look at the box unless I'm really stumped.

I love this puzzle, Took awhile to do, but well worth it

The puzzle is wonderful. I have spent all day and all night , and that is the truth,and no sleep. I relaxes me and I love it. I`m framing it to put In the active room so everyone can see it.

Difficult, but that is the fun! Beautiful puzzle! Enjoyed doing it.

This puzzle is large and gorgeous! I love the realistic depiction of each bird's details and position, even though it is not realistic to see them all this close together. ;) The colors are appropriately true and rich. The linen finish helps all the beautiful details to show up in the completed puzzle, and the joints are not distracting. I prefer grid-cut, 500-piece puzzles, but this scene is so wonderful, that I can overlook the many different shapes and size differences of the pieces. I have put this puzzle together twice so far and will continue to enjoy assembling it in the future!

Great colors.

I liked this puzzle however I can't stand the way the pieces are cut. They are not traditional, but each piece is a different shape. I does make it more challenging, but the downfall is the pieces DO NOT stay intact. I had to use twice as much glue to fill the gaps left by this type of cut. I would recommend the puzzle if it were cut better, and I would not recommend any puzzle from Cobble Hill as I am learning all their puzzles are done this way. This is sad because they produce some of the best pictured puzzles.
