How Jigsaw Puzzles Are Made
Originally jigsaw puzzles were made individually and were handcrafted out of wood. But by the 19th century, the popularity of puzzles had increased significantly not allowing time for the original process. Today, jigsaw puzzles are mass-produced in a process known as die-cutting to meet the ever-growing popularity and demand. Thankfully, the process of using the jigsaw cutting die has only improved right along with the technology allowing manufacturers to meet more demand than the originators of the jigsaw could have ever imagined. And we're honored to be able to offer a vast majority of puzzles as we work with over 50 brands to keep all kinds of puzzles available through thick and thin!
