Arctic Adventure is a 35-piece tray puzzle part of the Habitat series from Cobble Hill. These puzzles are designed with kids in mind: the puzzle outline on the tray help kids while the smaller pieces provide a fun challenge. Tray measures 14" x 10". For ages 3 and up. This illustration shows polar bears and Arctic animals on a shoreline as snow melts and spring plants come to life. Owls fly through the air and newborn bears and seals play in the water and on shore while parents keep a close eye. This painting brings to life the changing of seasons with vibrant colors of blue, green, orange, pinks and browns to show life in the arctic and eastern woodlands. Using in my four and five year old class. Challenging enough for my puzzle lovers and only a little intimidating to those who aren't. The picture behind keeps the intimidated ones going with it. Fantastic product!!
I purchased this for our kindergarten class and it has proven a perfect choice! I was concerned that it might be too easy, since there are only 35 pieces but it still provides a good challenge and the kids love it! Also, it is nice and sturdy!
This is another of Cobble Hill's lovely wildlife puzzle. The puzzles are thick and durable, and the information on the back of the puzzle provides facts about each of the animals in the puzzle.
My son is learning about snow animals this winter, so this puzzle was fun for him.
Image of puzzle is on tray. Pieces are a bit stiff to fit together. Lots of animal stuff on each puzzle piece makes it a fun puzzle to solve.
