Women's History Month
March is Women’s History Month! This was established in the USA in 1987 to celebrate the achievements, perseverance, and strength of women throughout history. This month-long event provides an opportunity to educate society about the countless contributions that women have made in a variety of fields globally.
This month I have chosen some puzzles that highlight many of these inspirational women.
I want to start with Lucky Puzzles She Series. There are 2 puzzles by Karen Hallion that I just adore. She Series: Real Women and She Series: Pop Culture Edition. Hallion has announced on her instagram page that they will no longer be manufactured, so RUN, don’t walk, over to Puzzle Warehouse to get yours before it’s gone forever!!!

I love the random cut, and the features heroic women, including Frida Kahlo, Rosa Parks, Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Amelia Earhart in the real women series.
The real women are most inspiring and the pop culture edition is pure fun! Featuring Lady Liberty, Dana Scully from the X-files, Dottie from A League of Their own, Mulan, and more!
Next, I want to tell you about Rebel Girls. Rebel Girls is a self-proclaimed a global empowerment brand dedicated to raising the most inspired and confident generation of girls.
They believe in empowering girls to dream big, that amplifying stories of real-life women can lead to a more equal world, and that girls can and should do everything! They produce everything from books and clothes, to (you guessed it!) puzzles! I found 2 varieties of Rebel Girls puzzles at Puzzle Warehouse.
Masterpieces has a collection of 4 adorable 100 piece large piece puzzles. I got the Innovators and Champions!

I also puzzled the 500 piece Jigsaw Puzzle for Rebel Girls from Gibson.
I love that these puzzles highlight some of the lesser known, but still highly inspirational, women in their fields. There are many women I’d never heard of before and was excited to learn more about.
Next, I present the 500 piece round puzzle, Votes for Women from Eeboo. The brand boasts that it is women-owned, mother run, sustainable, and always good! I tend to agree. Their images normalize inclusion and encourage empathy across our beautiful differences. And the majority of their artists are women! Read more about the brand on the Eeboo Brand Spotlight blog. I love a puzzle that is as educational as it is colorful! The Votes for Women puzzle includes an informational poster with more information on everyone in the puzzle.
They also have a puzzle for International Women’s Day which is on March 8.

I’d like to leave you with a few more puzzles I’d recommend for Women’s History Month, and, let’s face it, all year!
I have Inspirational Women by Ridley Games on my wishlist! I haven’t puzzled this brand yet, but this puzzle looks so fun!

Nevertheless, She Persisted by Cobble Hill. I celebrated Women’s History Month with this puzzle back in 2021! This puzzle celebrates women over a 150 year span, including Frida Kahlo and Malala Yousafzai. It includes some memorable quotes, such as, “No one can make you feel inferior without your consent.” spoken by first lady Eleanor Roosevelt.

Little Feminist by Mudpuppy. Mudpuppy always has the CUTEST puzzles. The cartoon versions of Cleopatra, Harriet Tubman and Sally Ride just tug at my heartstrings!
I hope you take some time to celebrate the women in your life this month!
Happy puzzling
Xoxo,
Alyssa
These puzzles are great! I love the Eboo and Lucky puzzles especially. Fun choices!
