Even if judged merely as a puzzle, The Constitution is worth the time assembling it. The pieces have a solid, high quality, feel and fit together so snugly that lifting a corner will keep them firmly together. Though a greater challenge than one might expect, given the erroneous assumption that the lines of writing make assembly simple, the task is well worth doing. But this is more than a mere puzzle. Having the actual words of the US Constitution continually before one’s eyes, along with the outline of the Iwo Jima Memorial, are a constant reminder of the foresight and heroism of those who founded and defended our country. Any other puzzle is just a pretty picture, however worth doing, this one triggers feelings of pride and patriotism.
