Stay Updated On What's New In The Puzzle World
I’ve noticed something about my puzzling habits over the years; I am definitely someone who puzzles based on the season. When autumn rolls around, I start reaching for cozy cabins and autumn leaves. In winter, snowy villages and Christmas scenes suddenly feel right. But when spring arrives, I immediately want bright, colorful puzzles on my table. There’s just something about the start of a new season that makes opening a fresh puzzle even more exciting.
For me, Springtime is all about color. After months of darkness (I like in the PMW), spring puzzles feel like a breath of fresh air. I find myself gravitating toward florals, gardens, birds, and bright landscapes.... CONTINUE READING
There has been a long-standing misunderstanding between puzzlers and their cats.
Humans believe they are quietly assembling beautiful images one piece at a time. They think they are engaging in a relaxing hobby. They think the table, the pieces, and the carefully sorted sections belong to them. We regret to inform you that this is incorrect.... CONTINUE READING
My first puzzle competition was completely spontaneous. I didn’t even know speed puzzling was a thing — I just showed up, met a puzzler (who became a good friend of mine) sat down, and started puzzling. Somehow, we placed 5th… and to this day, I truly think a lot of that was luck. Since then, I've grown a lot as a speed puzzler. But my goal has always remained the same, don't be last.... Custom puzzles are one of those gifts that feel really thoughtful… but they can also be a little intimidating if you’ve never made one before. Recently I've gotten a lot of DMs asking if the image they are thinking of using as a custom puzzle would be a great fit. I love giving feedback on this type of thing. Especially if you are not a puzzler yourself, and are thinking of gifting a custom puzzle. You may not consider if the puzzle would be fun to put together .... CONTINUE READING
Most puzzlers I know — including myself — tend to gravitate toward puzzling alone. There’s something comforting about spreading out the pieces, taking a deep breath, and settling into that quiet rhythm. For years, puzzling was my solo ritual at the end of a long day — a moment of calm that belonged only to me.
But over the past few years, something shifted. I started puzzling with others more often, and I discovered just how special it can be to share that experience, especially as we move into a season that’s both nostalgic and overwhelming.... CONTINUE READING

They’re a fun way to slow down during a busy season and take 10–15 minutes for yourself (or to share a cozy nightly tradition with family). Here are some of the more popular ones we sell that I personally have done and would recommend.... CONTINUE READING
But wooden puzzles aren’t just for collectors anymore. Thanks to modern laser-cut technology, puzzlers today can enjoy the precision, whimsy, and durability of wooden puzzles at a more approachable price point — though they’re still a bit of a splurge compared to cardboard. Many puzzlers have never tried a wooden puzzle before, and I think it’s an experience everyone should have at least once... CONTINUE READING
