Dave Barnhouse works primarily with oil paints and is defined as an artist by his identification as an Ohioan country boy who has a fierce love for small towns. “I want my heart to make people feel as if they are back home on a Friday evening” he says. His paintings have a warmth to them and are like snapshots of rural life in small-town America from the 50’s and 60’s.
