Not easy! But a blast. I love the Vanity Fair cover art series and hope to get them all.

This was a lot of fun, with so much going on. It has quite a few non-standard shapes, which was helpful in those green field areas. However, I ranked it "hard" because in at least 3 spots of the green field there were blocks of 5-7 pieces that fit together perfectly BUT...weren't correct. And we wouldn't realize it until we'd be left with a space that required (for example) a piece with a pointy spade knob, but no pieces were left like that. We ended up having to scrutinize the color patterns under a magnifying glass to notice that "Oh yes...these brush strokes are horizontal" and then we'd take the block apart and try the pieces elsewhere. But at least the whole puzzle wasn't one big field of color! ;-)

This puzzle is such a treat! I love the sharp lines and the color that is peppered throughout. Very fun to put together.
