The Notre Dame Basilica of Montreal is one of the most treasured architectural wonders in all of Canada. This massive church housed Roman Catholics from the mid-1600s and is still in use today. It has even hosted the wedding of Celine Dion's wedding to Rene Angelil in 1994, and also hosted the memorial service for Agelil in 2016.
This 15'' x 20.5'' puzzle encapsulates the full scope and wonder of the basilica, and treats you with a magnificent view of the inside chapel. The immaculate statues and structures surrounding the chapel, as well as the curvature and color of the walls & ceiling provide a detailed and gorgeous picture to put together in 500 pieces.
This is medium difficulty
The most beautiful puzzle yet. a compound put on some of the pieces makes part of it glow in the dark, as if you were standing in the darkened basilica and seeing the moonlight glowing on some of the items through the dome windows. I hope that author Louise Penny has seen this. Her Inspector must have visited this when he was in Montreal. I will never see it in real life, and wish I could get a booklet describing the names of the statues in the windows. Thank you to the manufacturer for making this puzzle.
