Puzzles to Remember - The Sewing Box

Absolutely love these for the Alzheimer's Unit I work on!!!

Bought this for my 3 year old grand daughter who loves playing with her mother's sewing notions. She loved it! Her 18 month old sister got involved in putting it together too! It's a keeper.

While I buy these puzzles primarily for my mother on her journey with dementia, we are finding them great for my father as well. He doesn't have memory problems but has some residual stroke damage in one hand. These large pieces are just right to exercise the function of the damaged hand and fingers as we put the puzzles together on a Sunday afternoon. I would probably call this puzzle "Crafter's Box" rather than "Sewîng Box" though..

The shape of the pieces was interesting. The pieces definitely are interlocking. When I can pick up a finished puzzle by two corners and hold it up without it falling apart, I know it is a quality puzzle.
