I chose this for my grandsons, and I put it together in twenty minutes, so it will be perfect for a five year old in love with all things dino. It should take them an hour or so, with the large pieces and only 100. Just right to do with help from their mom at first, and about as long as a boy wants to spend sitting still. Being a glowing image after dark will be fun for them, too. They love that!
