This collection of Norman Rockwell baseball paintings is set in panorama style. When finished the puzzle measures 13x39. The pictures are from various Saturday Evening Post magazine covers that Rockwell painted over his career with the Curtis Publishing Company. These delightful illustrations tell a story and the clever details of the artist make this puzzle a lot of fun to do. At 1000 pieces there is some challenge to enjoy. For my family, Mr. Rockwell is a "living" artist in the sense that we grew up in his time and remember his art with pleasant nostalgia. He died, I think, in 1979.

Fun to do, but not as easy as it might look.

I remember these Norman Rockwell SEP covers, so it was a real joy to do this puzzle. But, even those puzzle fans that are not as old will enjoy doing the puzzle of three panels from baseball. They all happen today as well. The faces are especially enjoyable.

Norman Rockwell is one of my favorite artists. I just love how his pictures silently say so much. The facial expressions tell the story. I loved this puzzle. Not much color diversity so it was hard in that way. The pieces were of good quality.
