After the border, I started working on the flowers, berries, and grasses. They took awhile. The rest moved along quickly. Always enjoy the birds.
I love bluejays and this is a pretty autumn scene--great to look at on a hot, hot summer day! It requires some careful attention to detail in some sections, but not so difficult that it gets frustrating.
I prefer working with brighter colors and a crisper image; however, I love birds; and this is a pretty picture, so I put it together. One has to carefully study the pieces when working with the flowers, tall grass and twigs. Chickadees and Lilacs was a harder puzzle to complete when compared with this one, as a frame of reference. While I wouldn't recommend it for beginners, it's not in the super difficult category, either. Just make sure to have good lighting.
A fun puzzle. Worth the cost.
