Castle of Horrors by Artist Jean-Jacques Loup. 2000 Pieces. Finished size 27" x 38".
I just took a brief look at this puzzle when I bought it. I thought great Halloween puzzle and Heye makes great puzzles. That turned out to be my bad. I should have been more careful, because when I started to build it I had to explain to my granddaughters and other women around me why necked women were getting tortured, sacrificed, and bitten on the breast by vampires. Even in a puzzle format that is sad. Sad in that Puzzle Warehouse may need to put warnings in the future on puzzles. It could have been a great puzzle. I will definitely look much more closely in the future at the puzzles. I donate all my puzzles to charities when done, including those dealing with children, but this one I threw away.
This puzzle was so much fun as well as challenging...
Regarding another customer’s comment saying “beware of nudity in this puzzle if you have kids” what child is doing a 2,000 piece puzzle anyway?! Ridiculous. This puzzle is amazing don’t listen to the complainers!
This is a great puzzle, however beware of female nudity and what can only be described as a sex dungeon. Luckily my children are older and just thought it was funny mom missed this content. Also I really don't like the triangular box. I had to find an old shoebox for the pieces while puzzling. Lame.
This puzzle was fun and on the difficult side which is what I like.i have to say though I had to CRAM that last piece to make it fit. Not sure what was going on with that. I'm not a big fan of puzzles that don't have enough variation in the cut of the pieces that you can end up putting them in the wrong place. Also, on the sustainability front I wou.d give this 1 star mainly because you don't need a 2 foot tall box for a puzzle this size. Not to mention storing it. A complete waste of space and packaging in my opinion.
Loved this puzzle. The little vignettes within the poster were entertaining.
Loup is great! I would love to have all his puzzles. I am working on it!
Just a little pricey but great puzzle to do.
I just started on the puzzle so I haven't gotten too far yet, but it's starting out harder than I expected so it's really enjoyable.
Excellent Quality Pieces, and a joy to put together.
Is going together nicely. Glad for the large poster included, helps alot! Quality pieces.
Great puzzle. I love comic themed puzzles and Halloween. Halloween puzzles are so hard to find so this was a great treasure to come across. Almost reminds me of the Haunted Mansion at Disney.
Excellent quality cut on this puzzle. Many times a 2000 piece puzzle is flimsy and the fit is poor. Not these puzzles! They have sturdy pieces that interlock well
This puzzle is great. It looks great. The pieces are really good quality. Puzzle is difficult for sure. One of the more difficult ones I've completed. A lot of the blues in the sky, the castle bricks, and the cliff pieces all blend so there were a few times the piece looked correct and fit only to end up being the wrong piece. While I was excited to get it together, I enjoyed the fact that it took me more than a few hours. It's unfortunate that the artist Jean-Jacques Loup passed away in 2015 as all of his puzzles are a joy to put together and are harder and harder to find these days.
Customer Service is outstanding and "does" guarantee satisfaction. When my family and I completed the "Castle of Horrors" puzzle, there were seven (7) of the 2,000 pieces missing. I called Customer Service and, without any reservation, the problem was solved and I received what was needed to complete the puzzle. THANK YOU!!! Thus far I have purchased and enjoyed assembling six puzzles from Puzzle Warehouse in St. Louis, MO ... and plan to purchase more.
A very fun and unique puzzle.different from the norm.
Great puzzle, unique picture, and high quality. I liked it a lot!
