I liked this puzzle but my grandson picked Abby’s Dragon instead for me to frame. Not sure if I will return this one.

There are a variety of very unusually shaped pieces which adds to the difficulty, but, in my mind, that also makes it a bit more fun than puzzles with just the standard shapes.
The darker areas were hard to distinguish.
