In the 1000 piece jigsaw puzzle, Fire Brigade by Piatnik, people chaotically scurry around as a building is burning. While the subject matter of this piece doesn't obviously focus on humor, you can find layered humor within the piece such as the burning building in the image being called "the hottest club in town.". The cartoon style in which the piece is illustrated also helps with the portrayal of the humor and creates a less urgent picture while creating a more whimsical picture at the same time.

I love cartoon puzzles. "Fire Brigade" is the third one I've gotten by François Ruyer, from Piatnik. Ruyer's drawing style is detailed and hilarious, inviting close attention. Piatnik, an Austrian manufacturer, makes thick and sturdy puzzle pieces that hold together well in groups. Highly recommended!
I would rate this medium/hard. It took a while to complete it, but it was fun.
