Kazuyuki Ohtsu (Japanese, b. 1935) Flowers in Village The joyful, vibrant colors of spring balance the strength of snow-dappled mountains in Kazuyuki Ohtsu’s landscape. Ohtsu follows the sōsaku hanga (creative print) tradition, in which artists handle every step—they paint the original pictures, carve the woodblocks, and print the images. Ohtsu’s unique compositions are poetic contemplations, drawing the viewer into lovely, tranquil scenes of natural beauty and harmony. Flowers in Village will envelop you in serenity as you complete this 500-piece jigsaw puzzle.

For people who love struggling to find where a piece fits, this is a good one. The bottom 1/3 of the puzzle I found to be difficult.
Bottom third of the puzzle offers more of a challenge. Pieces fit together well.
This is a stunning puzzle that for an advanced puzzler is a medium-hard. Pomegranate always has good quality.
very tough to do. trees are tricky
I am a beginner so no one's idea of a puzzle expert. This beautiful puzzle seemed well made and sufficiently challenging. A reasonable number of varied shapes and colors.
Somewhat difficult because the cherry blossom pieces all look the same, but a beautiful image.
After a trip to Japan, we really enjoyed this puzzle. As avid puzzlers I rated it medium, but the pink flowers along the bottom really become difficult.
If you've been admiring this beautiful puzzle since the start of the pandemic like I was, take my advice and order it!! I kept telling myself, "O it looks too hard." I started with the golden horizontal lines and worked up; that part was very easy and enjoyable. The bottom pink part was definitely more challenging, but certainly doable. I say "Go for it!"
It took me a month to finish this puzzle because of the field of branches at the bottom.
Beautiful picture. Enjoy feel of pieces. Exudes quality.
This is the most challenging puzzle I have ever put together. The upper 2/3 of the puzzle goes together fairly easily. But then there's the lower 1/3 of the puzzle and all of those cherry blossoms. I'm still working on it!
Many pieces fit in the same spot. Difficult
I normally work 1000 piece puzzles but really enjoyed this 500 piece puzzle! Beautiful image, high quality pieces, had both East and challenging sections to work on! I have always enjoyed working Pomegranate’s puzzles.
