Known as the land of fire and ice, Iceland has become a popular tourist destination. This image features Kirkjufell peak and Kirkjufellsfoss falls with icelandic horses, sheep an artic fox, atlantic puffins, greylag geese, and a rock ptarmigan. The aurora borealis, also known as the northern lights, put on a dazzling natural light display — creating shimmering waves of green, purple, pink, and blue light that dance across the night sky.
