Jeju Life

While I'm an extremely experienced puzzler and prefer challenging puzzles, I'm not a masochist, so this isn't the type of puzzle I would normally buy. ("Sorting" pieces was hilarious.) But, being Korean, and this puzzle company being Korean, I couldn't resist trying it out. The quality is superb: thick pieces, a solid box, with a full-size poster and a packet of puzzle glue inside (and instructions on not only how to glue the puzzle but how to put a puzzle together printed on the bottom of the box, lol). The pieces are larger than standard, but not as large as the ones in "large piece" puzzles. Technically, there are 6 different piece shapes, but the majority of the pieces are the same shape, so while everything ultimately only fit in one way, I did have to redo two parts of the border. It usually takes me 2 days to complete a 1000 piece puzzle. This one took nearly a week of very uneven progress: 3 or 4 days at an iceberg-level pace then suddenly the last 100 or 200 pieces went in super easily. One note: the piece fit is not tight, so it's easiest to put pieces together inside the border and close to where they belong in the puzzle rather than trying to lift and move them.
