Dona Gelsinger (b. 1960s) loved art from a young age, when she used to watch her grandfather paint. As an adult, she joined the corporate art world but found that it wasn’t to her taste. She threw caution to the wind and opened up her own studio in her home. Her big break came when she applied to paint The Stations of the Cross for her local church. Her faith is important in her work, and one of her trademarks is to include an angelic figure hidden within her paintings.
Whimsical and cheerful scenes filled with color and festive charm. Her artwork often highlights holidays, fantasy elements, and joyful themes.
