I would say this puzzle was hard/advanced because the pieces of the border and the inner pieces often looked the same. Which I enjoyed the unexpected challenge but for those who want to start with a border first, this one might frustrate you. Overall the puzzle is gorgeous.
Some of the pieces were not fully cut. The backing was still holfing pieces together. I usually do 1000 piece puzzles so i figured this would be rather quick to finish until i saw the way the pieces were cut & this is the first time I have done a puzzle where the edges don't always interlock , which was challenging from start to finish. I enjoyed doing this puzzle.
