This is the 3rd of the Rosina Wachtmeister series that I've had the pleasure of completing. I adore her funky cat art and the quality of Heye puzzles is very high. Fortunately, I have 2 more in my stash. I only wish that I'd caught the puzzle bug earlier so that I could have owned the rest of the puzzles that feature her whimsical art!
This is a beautiful puzzle. Very well made and fun to put together. I gave it an "Advanced" difficulty because many of the gold pieces, including the border, were interchangeable and it took several tries of many of the pieces until I figured out what pieces went together correctly. This is the first puzzle I've done where I could not put the border together first. Because so many pieces looked like they fit, I only realized they were wrong when I couldn't do the second and third rows in from the edge. Still lots of fun and I would buy again.
Like all the 'Heye' jigsaws I have done, the quality if absolutely gorgeous. The colours are exactly as shown. The pieces fit so well together. The finish is really lovely. I have 15 of Rosina Wachtmeister's cat jigsaws (1000, 1500, 2000 pieces) and buy them as soon as I see one available and even though it can be quite expensive given the exchange, shipping and duty to Canada, I'd buy more if there were some available that I do not own. They are just so fun to do.
